"I have always been a lover of animals, from playing ‘vets’ as a child, volunteering at local animal shelters as a teenager, to studying for a BSc in Zoology,then an MRes in Anthrozoology. I previously worked at a Doggy Daycare in California, before moving back to the UK and becoming a team leader for a busy daycare in the UK. My role focused on organising around 42 dogs daily, ensuring they were comfortable, relaxed and safe, whilst enjoying their day with us! During the day they’d have access to multiple fields for supervised socialisation and play, as well as enrichment games, agility, and rest. Over the years I have also provided clients walks, check-in's and puppy visits as young as 10 weeks old, as well as regular overnight pet sits. I hold a certificate in canine first aid and have attended lectures from a local dog behaviourist to expand my knowledge in canine behavior and training. Since moving back again to New Zealand, I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to live and work in such a beautiful country, and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time than out in nature with some furry friends!
